Supporting parents in order to achieve the best health and development of their babies and children.

Dilico's community health nurses and infant child development staff work together to support families expecting a baby. Aboriginal Healthy Babies Healthy Children (AHBHC) provides access to culturally appropriate early intervention and prevention services to help all children get the best start in life.

AHBHC aims to improve the long term health prospects of children aged 0 - 6 years through:

• Pre-and post-natal screenings and assessments
• Newborn and Infant screenings and assessments
• Home visiting
• Service co-ordination
• Support for service integration

Every child is a unique gift from the Creator. It is our job to honour this gift.
