Dilico, together with various partners and community members, worked collaboratively to produce an educational video aimed at providing awareness about Type 2 Diabetes in the Northern Superior First Nations.
Type 2 diabetes is the most common form of diabetes and can develop at any age, even during childhood. Many people in First Nation communities are currently living with the disease.
Approximately 94% of First Nations people living in the Robinson-Superior Treaty area with diabetes have Type 2, which is preventable.
Come see and listen to those affected and how you can help with prevention.
