Changing Directions

In 2008, Dilico’s senior managers and the Board of Directors commenced work on a new strategic plan. During initial discussions it became apparent that Dilico needed to shift its focus back to the original mandate of supporting children and families in the Robinson Superior First Nation communities.

The Changing Directions Pilot Project is the core of this new strategic plan. The driving force behind the plan is a vision of well-being for our children, families and communities. This plan will help Dilico achieve a balance between prevention and protection services, and a balance between services to our communities and to the urban population.

It is our hope that, with the support of the communities, this strategic plan will help Dilico move forward towards a positive, healthy and bright future for our children, families and communities.
